Sophie was looking for a way to dress her bedroom window. Since she already had a blackout blind on the glass, her priority was not a fabric that blocks light but one that softens the intense sunlight during the day without completely obscuring it.
Given the large, asymmetrically placed window, I suggested a sheer curtain made from dense batiste fabric. This choice visually integrates the window with the wall, creating a cohesive look. To add balance and symmetry, we included lightweight, translucent drapes in the color of the bed’s headboard, symmetrically positioned on both sides of the wall.
The entire design was mounted on a white track rail fixed to the wall, with both the curtain and drapes styled using a wave header for a sleek, modern finish.
